Hong Kong Throwies...

Apparently there is a giant metal Christmas tree in Hong Kong with a lot of throwies and cola logos on it. Youtube clips here and here. One of my favorite parts is that the star at the top of the tree instead of being the guiding star of Bethlehem is a Coka-Cola logo.

FREE DVD Duplication for Windows....

For anyone looking to share some DVD's in this time of giving I have found a wonderful solution. Rip It 4 Me. It bundles DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, and FixVTS into a one click operation that will duplicate a DVD to your hard drive.

To play the ripped files from your HD you can use the open source / GNU VideoLAN - VLC media player.

To burn the ripped files back onto a DVD that can be played in any DVD player use ImgBurn.

(for mac users I hear Mac the Ripper is the shit.)

Terror Alert Level...

As you can see I have updated the blog so that you can stay on top of the current terror alert level. www.terror-alert.com provides this service as well as email alerts when current terror-alert status changes.

I also stumbled across this site which I thought was dirt style enough to be worthy of mention.
