Image Fulgurator

LM4K hooked me to this one (via Gizmodo via MAKE). The video needs some work, but the idea is solid.

Email is blogging for 1.
I'm not even sure what this means exactly... just thought it had a nice ring to it and deserved to be on a t-shirt.

My favorite image of all time

I know this is a crazy old meme, but this image has been sitting on my desktop for a minute so I thought I'd throw it up. I have Mr. Wilks to thank for this one. I think I'm going to try and get someone over here to paint this for me so I can hang it above my couch.

Putting the P.C. in P.W.C.
I'm not sure which is worse, painting yourself in corporate war paint, or choosing Native Americana as the theme of your corporate picnic? Either way Price Waterhouse Coopers is coming out on top! This was the scene at the annual Dragon Boat festival that happened a week ago here on the beaches just outside of Hong Kong.
I'd be curious to see how this would have gone over in NYC... I just can't picture the executives of PWC dressed up and parading around Union Square in full Native American headdress. But, perhaps on Aug. 2nd we'll get to find out when the Dragon Boat Festival happens in NYC.

Copyright in HK....
A station here in Hong Kong was broadcasting just this image with audio from a tennis match..... for a long time. More evidence for the 'copyright is silly' folder.

Scrambled Eggs and Ramen (NOT GROSS!)
I thought I would celebrate my recent move from NYC to Hong Kong with a commemorative East meets West edition FFFFFat Stacks omelet. For scrambled eggs and ramen you will need 3 eggs, olive oil, vegetarian ramen (for all my non-meat eating heads), baby corn (broken into thirds) and baby mushrooms (baby veggies are always more fun then their grown up counter parts). Cook the babies in a frying pan with some olive oil. While those are simmering put half of the ramen package (make sure to include half the spices as well) into a bowl and pour on just enough hot water to make them soft. Once the vegetables are cooked put them off to the side, re-oil the pan, and pour in 3 eggs beaten with a spash of olive oil and water. Mix in the cooked veggies and ramen and get your scramble on.
More photos here.

Making Big Moves...
Greetings loyal ni9e blog readers. I thought I might take a quick time out here to mention a couple rather large life events currently taking place on the other side of this server.
First off ( if you haven't heard) me lady fi5e finally decided to make it legal.... Brooklyn City Hall style.

Second, we decided to move to Hong Kong and will be living here for the next 15 months. Stay tuned for more Hong Kong related blogging, and if you're living in HK and are down with the ni9e then holler at your boy.
Ok, now back to your regularly scheduled blogging.
