Intellectual Property Asshole Competition: OBEY vs AP
Who is the bigger intellectual property asshole? Is it the artist who has amassed a small fortune based on "appropriation" yet still sends cease and desist letters to other artists for appropriating his work?
Or is it the largest (and only) US based nationally-oriented news service which fails to recognize "fair use" even when it literally stares them in the face?
I have created hand painted canvases of Shepard Fairy's Obama Hope poster, and Mannie Garcia's Associated Press photograph and put them for sale on my website here and here.

New in the Ni9e Factory, hand painted versions of my 9 to 5 Paintings, a project in which I turned emails, Internet browsing and report writing into digital paintings using a Double Mouse.

NO SCROLL EMAIL (Seeking developers)
I've been toying with the idea of building an email application that doesn't accept email messages which require the use of a scroll bar. Emails over the specified word count would be returned to the sender with a customized message (set in the user's preferences) requesting them to condense and resend. Hong Kong Graffiti: Central District
This set of photos contains some of my favorite tags and graffiti in central Hong Kong. Central is sort of similar to SOHO in NYC, so this is in no way a reflection of the graffiti scene in Hong Kong as a whole. If I had to name a King (or Queen?) at this point it would be Busy B, hands down. For the complete set of photos go here.

RIAA, We Go Hard.
Seems a bit harsh to get RIAA notifications on content you produced through official channels. I would fight the claim but I kind of love that the RIAA is pulling a video that ends with "download source code here". You can still find the Brooklyn Go Hard video on some dude's youtube page, Mr. Carter's ilike page, or on my server.
